Kristen Chase took the plunge into motherhood via a surprise pregnancy now a blossoming two year old with another on the way. In her former life she was a published textbook author, musician, college professor and designer shoe glutton, all of which she’s traded for a satisfying new position as military wife and stay-at-home-parent. Kristen is the author of the widely popular weblog Motherhood Uncensored, and contributes to a number of prominent online and print zines, including Mamazine.com and Dot-moms.com. Additionally, she co-founded and currently co-edits Cool Mom Picks, a cheeky product and service review blog for discerning moms, which was recently featured in Time Magazine. She happily resides in the Philly area after surviving a stint in the Deep South.
Julie Marsh was a professional project manager for ten years – skills which have translated easily to parenting two little girls. She spent four years at the Pentagon and several more in the New York metro area before succumbing to suburbia in the wild wild West. Julie is the author of mothergoosemouse (her personal weblog), and contributes to multiple other online sites, including Cool Mom Picks, The Imperfect Parent, and The Soccer Mom Vote. She hopes to remain in the Denver area until her girls graduate high school, and then she’s headed straight back to Manhattan.
